We are actively seeking Cleaners based in Leeds for a role in a hospital setting. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas, including wards and public spaces, with a focus on both high and low cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the Trust's cleanliness standards are consistently implemented and upheld.
Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, bathroom cleaning, toilet maintenance, and bin emptying.
Utilize floor cleaning machines for efficient cleaning.
The role requires a collaborative approach, flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to take initiative within the team.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, ideally in a hotel, care, or hospital environment.
Possession of a full UK driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Ideally, a DBS on an updated service; however, Search can assist in obtaining this.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adherence to all hospital policies and procedures.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
